I am the owner of the FUN & FUNky ART GALLERY and GIFT SHOP next to the Coney Island Hot Dog stand in Bailey. Myself included we are a group of local Artists who sell our homemade crafted goods to the public for profit. I am looking to expand into another location in the Bailey/Conifer/Evergreen area to create a BRAND NEW ARTISAN’S MARKET!
If you’re an Artist, Crafter, Photographer, Fine Art Painter, Sculptor or other type of Artist, I want you! I will be renting out individual booths and wall space at an affordable price so that you may offer your goods for sale to the community, neighbors, friends and tourists along the Highway 285 Corridor.
Highway 285 is “the New I-70” and is being marketed as the preferred, alternative route to busy Interstate 70 for tourists wishing to access beautiful wilderness areas, ski opportunities and the scenic beauty that only Park County and surrounding counties can provide. Tourist destinations include Breckenridge, Crested Butte, Buena Vista, Salida and Georgetown via the gorgeous Guanella Pass road which will be completed in October of 2015. Once completed, that road will also offer reverse access from I-70 back through Bailey and Shawnee which will create a scenic loop that will bring many new tourists and travelers to our local business market.
