Text-to-911 service for police, ambulance and fire response is now available in Jefferson and Broomfield counties.
A text sent to 911 will go to emergency dispatchers logged into a secure website.
Like cell phone calls to 911, text messages do not tell dispatchers a user's location. Remember to include in the text message your location and the nature of your emergency.
