The one off of Pierce has been there a long time I believe it opened when I was in 2nd grade very sad to see.
The folks there took very good care of my Mom and Dad in the older ages I know my Mom will be sad to hear this news and I hope the people that helped my parents out find new jobs.

Safeway is closing nine locations across metro Denver, citing non-profitability as the main reason for the decision, according to a letter obtained by the DBJ.
Kristine J. Staaf, director of public affairs/government relations for Pleasanton, California-based Safeway (NYSE: SWY), confirmed the closures, saying the company has spent more than a year evaluating ways to help the stores improve their performance.
"This was a very difficult decision made after long and careful deliberation," Staaf said. "Ultimately, our business analysis indicated that we needed to cease operations at these locations."
The nine locations will close June 13. They are:
560 Castle Pines Parkway, Castle Rock.
3904 East 120 th Ave, Thornton.
12900 Zuni, Westminster.
16921 E. Quincy Ave, Aurora.
22675 East Aurora Parkway, Aurora.
1955 South Sheridan Blvd., Denver.
7500 S. Pierce Street, Littleton.
1730 S. Buckley Road, Aurora.
8200 S. Quebec, Centennial.
Staaf said Safeway plans on making, "every effort to place store employees affected at other area Safeway supermarkets."
"Despite our best efforts of the company and our employees, we have not been able to reposition them to better compete in the marketplace," Staaf said.
