PeaceWorks, Inc. is proud to partner with Center Stage and the Evergreen Chorale as they present "CHICAGO" September 11 through October 4 at Center Stage, 27608 Fireweed Drive, Evergreen, CO, 80439. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales from all 12 performances will be donated to PeaceWorks, home of the only domestic violence shelter in 2,700 square miles of our mountain community.

The longest-running American musical on Broadway, CHICAGO relays the stories of Roxie and Velma, two murderesses on death row in 1920s Chicago, the press and public’s fascination with their stories, and their lawyer’s attempts to keep them in the limelight in hopes of winning their freedom. Set to the music of John Kander, lyrics of Fred Ebb and choreography of Bob Fosse, this show has been a winner ever since it debuted in 1975. The story is a satire on corruption in the administration of criminal justice and the concept of the "celebrity criminal" still relevant today.

Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Tickets are $24 Adults; $20 seniors (62+)/Students, $16 children, $19 groups of 10 or more and available by phone 303-674-4002 or online at www.evergreenchorale.org .

We invite you to bring a friend and get tickets to experience this wonderful musical. Want to join PeaceWorks staff or board members who will be attending? Call our office at 303-838-7176 and ask for Laurie or Janet!
