Come out and support Natural Grocers opening tomorrow morning 11-10-15 at 8 AM. Since they are employing MANY of our local friends and neighbors, it IS a local business now. I am sure they would all appreciate our support so we have less people having to commute down the hill for healthy products.

We had the great opportunity to interview Brandon Hugenot, the Store Manager at the new Conifer Natural Grocers and have to tell you his energy and infectious enthusiasm were wonderful to hear! He is very much looking forward to working in and with this new community for Natural Grocers and excited for all of the products and services they can provide!

A little about Brandon: he was born in Colorado and spent most of his life here. He started in Store #20 (Conifer is Store #105) about 10 years ago as a cashier and moved his way up the ranks; he appreciates the opportunities the company gives people to make a good living and emphasis on leadership learning in their occupations. The company, and Brandon, are hyper-focused on providing world-class customer service and the chance to get to know people in a small town like Conifer especially motivated him to take this position - he was previously an Assistant Store Manager in Monument where he knew his regular customers by name.

Some of the things that Brandon mentioned that Natural Grocers plans in order to better serve the community:
  • Nutritional Health Coach on Staff, Jess Sorci, will be available to answer questions, teach informational classes, and reach out to the community.
  • Demo kitchen: they will teach free classes in their demo kitchen - cooking demos, how to live a healthier lifestyle, etc.
  • Presentations scheduled with local elementary schools
  • 100% organic produce - strict standards on products they sell, strictest standards on dairy products
  • EDAP - Every Day Affordable Prices - high quality doesn’t mean high prices

Look for flyers in the mail inviting you to the store and offering free products and coupons - the first one coming out will have a coupon for almond butter, bread, and honey. When you go to the store, find the Prize Box and drop your name in for a chance to win iPads, bicycles, gift bags, and more! Introduce yourself to Brandon and get to know your new Natural Grocers store!

It will be the first store I visit when grocery shopping. Beats having to trek to 285 and Wadsworth.

Got in too late from travels to get to the opening, but look forward to visiting it soon.

All of the employees were very friendly and helpful yesterday, trying to assist the customers in finding things in the new store. It was a very positive energy in there!

Did you know that this is a family-owned company that started in Golden and has achieved the American Dream - starting out of their house and building to over 100 stores within and outside of Colorado? It's a great story!

Wow! Really like the new Natural Grocers. Lots of people using their coupon taking advantage of their free almond butter, rudi's bread and honey and buying lots of other besides. Plenty of parking. It will be my favorite place to go.
