I hate the new baseless argument that global warming and poverty are causing the increases in Islamic radicalism. Global poverty and famine are much less of a problem than they were in the 70`s and 80`s. And both ISIS and Al Quaida seem to be getting plenty of money to commit genocide and terrorism from their Islamic gulf state supporters.

Amen brother. After the Nazis, Khmer Rouge, Boko Haram, televised ISIS atrocities, and so much more, our society still cannot bear to admit that evil is alive and well. Humans sleep better at night if they can rationalize evil. "Terrorism is caused by global warming, the Nazis came from broken homes, James Holmes didn't get a second cookie when he was 10", or some such B.S. Gotta be a reason, right? If not, they'll just make one up.
