Many thanks to Elk Creek Fire Protection District for this nice message they sent us. We deeply appreciate their hard work helping keep our park and its visitors safe.
Early this year, Elk Creek Fire replaced two 27 year old water tenders with two new E-One water tenders. These trucks are designed to shuttle water to both house fires and wildland fires. We worked with E-One manufacturing to refine their product; the end result is that our truck is showcased for 2016 as the April truck in the E-One calendar. The trucks are all wheel drive and highly maneuverable - well suited for the roads in our mountain town.The two trucks were purchased with the funding from the 2013 mill levy.
Thanks go to Staunton State Park for allowing E-One to shoot their calendar photo in their beautiful park.
