Course description: Through analysis of master works and developing your own paintings, you will gain new understanding of the fundamentals of composition and the importance of design simplification. This is an ongoing class with a different theme each month. Work in whatever medium you prefer, whether it be oil, watercolor, acrylic, etc.

Painting Snow in Watercolor

Course description: Learn how to see snow like you have never seen it before. It is more than just white. When painting snow you will see shades of pink, blue, yellow and purple. We will be painting snow scenes from your photos, my photos, or both. You will learn or refresh your memory of the watercolor techniques of using masking fluid, splatter, wet on wet, wet on dry, dry brush, glazing, light to dark, and beyond and then we will break all the rules if you wish. All abilities and levels welcomed. Supply list available. If you are new to watercolor and want to give it a try without the expense of buying all of the materials, I will have supplies available for you to use.
