GOLDEN – Investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating anyone who may have witnessed a car crash that killed three people in August.
The crash happened between 9 and 10 p.m. on northbound Highway 285, near South Turkey Creek Road, though investigators say the wreck was not discovered until 8:30 a.m. the following morning.
Alex Granillo-Alvarado, 23, has been charged with three counts of vehicular homicide in the one-car crash from Aug. 14.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or was in the area around the time of the crash should contact DA Investigator Kevin Sagar at 303-271-6800.
Granillo- Alvarado has a dispositional hearing set for Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. His bond was set at $50,000, which he posted on Dec. 17.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. - Three people are dead and another is injured following an overnight crash on Highway 285 near South Turkey Creek Road, a spokesman for the Colorado State Patrol confirmed with 7NEWS.
Trooper Nate Reid said the single-vehicle crash happened "sometime last night" when a vehicle went down an embankment into the field on Highway 285. A witness of the incident called to report the crash, but troopers were not able to find it until Saturday morning.
