EPRD Phone Survey About Buchanan Improvements
EPRD will be surveying the Evergreen community this week to determine if District residents are willing to support bond and mill levy increases to fund improvements to EPRD's facilities and services. This phone survey is a follow-up to the Buchanan Park Recreation Center Feasibility Study completed last May.The study found the most public support for the following additions/improvements to Buchanan:
creating an indoor gymnasium for activities such as basketball, volleyball and pickleball
creating an indoor walking/running track
expanding the fitness area
creating a new fitness pool with additional lap lanes for swimming and lessons.
Phone interviews will be conducted between March 8 and 13. Residents will be randomly selected and asked if they wish to participate. Please take the time to answer the questions -- your feedback is important!
The results will help EPRD decide if we should proceed with ballot initiatives in November.
