Dearly beloved
We are gathered here today
To get through this thing called life

Electric word life
It means forever and that's a mighty long time
But I'm here to tell you
There's something else
The after world

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The firs record I ever owned was Michael Jackson's Thriller. The first cassette tape? Prince (1979). I grew up on Prince and Madonna, they were to me the artists of the 80s.

Hubby and I went to see his farewell tour when he came to Denver a few years ago. The man had an incredible stage presence. What a loss for the world: a unique soul, amazing songwriter, and out of this world genius musician. Rest in peace Prince Rogers Nelson.
