COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) Schools across the country might have fallen victim to robocall bomb threats Monday afternoon.
In southern Colorado, a bomb threat was called into several schools in a matter of minutes. Liberty Point Elementary in Pueblo West and The Colorado Springs School in Colorado Springs were both evacuated around noon.
There are reports of schools in Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Madison, Wisc., who were also targets of bomb threats, that led to evacuation of its schools.
Sergeant Joel Kern of Colorado Springs police said it was investigating the possibility of the calls coming from a robocaller, a computerized autodialer that normally plays a pre-recorded message.
