Some residents in Kings Valley have come together for a coordinated effort to ask the Colorado Department of Transportation to improve the intersection at Hwy 285 and Kings Valley. There's an online petition of you would like to sign in support!
We, the undersigned, as citizens extremely concerned about traffic safety for our neighbors and all who travel US Highway 285, hereby respectfully request that the Colorado Department of Transportation make it a top priority to develop and implement solutions for the perilous intersection of US Highway 285 and Kings Valley Drive in Conifer (Mile Marker 232/233).
Furthermore, we request a public meeting with a representative of the Colorado Department of Transportation in the fall of 2016 to inform the community about the plans and timelines for improvements.
