Be Alert: Suspicious Vehicle in Burland

From Drudra on the Conifer, Pine, Bailey FB Group:

We wanted to post about something that happened in our neighborhood tonight. We are in Burland on the 'bird' roads.
Our family was playing and working outside when a Jeep rolled by. It was a dark green 90s Jeep Wrangler. The man inched his way by and stopped at one of our neighbors driveways for a minute or so. Then left. We felt uneasy about it all. Then he came right back by, inching by again with his head out the window scoping out our property and us. My husband walked up towards his car and hollered "can I help you?" He sped off, slowed a little and then took off. My husband hopped in our car and tracked him down and got his license plate number and a better car description. We called it into dispatch. When the police officer drove by, he stopped to talk to us. He said the plates were unregistered. Making the whole situation even more weird. The officers said they would continue to patrol the area.

As parents we fear the worst- that he was checking out our babies.

We have thought of many scenarios but none make sense as to why he would speed off. We feel it is good for others to know.
Keep your eyes open for unusual behavior.

We are still a relatively quiet and friendly community and things like this are NOT normal around here. Watch your babies playing outside and don't be afraid to report unusual things!!
