Folks - we have a very serious request for information from Jeffco Deputy Don Pierce - 303-271-5665. A long standing member of the community was the victim of a hit and run between 1:45 and 2:00 am early on Wednesday morning. The victim was walking home on Meadow Drive and was hit between Mountain Home and Rising Graphics. The victim is recovering but very concerningly was unconscious for a long time and was not found until 6:00 am, and of course by that point had been outside in the cold for a long period of time. We don't think this incident is in any way representative of the community and we would appeal to anyone who has any information that maybe relevant to contact the Deputy.
