Knit Knook's July News

Hi everyone!
Hope you are enjoying this crazy Colorado weather--hot one day and cool the next. It is nice to knit or crochet on those cooler days.

*The Knit Knook will be open on Monday, July 3rd and closed on Tuesday, July 4th. We hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!

*What about Christmas in July? Don't you hate when you have all those projects left to complete before Christmas and not enough time to finish them? Or you stay up until the wee hours of the morning trying to get them done? Well, we have a solution....Christmas Club! We will meet once a month from July until December. In December we will have a wrapping party so your projects are completely ready for the big day. Come to the shop to sign up and we will give you more details. The first Christmas Club meeting is July 25th so please sign up before then. Free gifts, discounts on needles and yarn, food, music and fellow knitters/crocheters to help keep you on track. Woohoo!

*Thursday, July 6th is Sock Club from 5:30-8:00 pm. Come join us for potluck, knitting/crocheting and fun! No charge, just bring some food to share.

*Wednesday, July 19th is the Afghan KAL from 10:30-Noon.

*Monday, July 31st is Spin Night from 6:00-8:00 pm.

*Don't forget the Yarn Across the Rockies Yarn Crawl is fast approaching. It is Saturday, August 19th through Sunday, August 27th. There are 17 participating shops so this might be the year to try to visit each shop

*If you are making a project for the Knit Knook's Hats and More contest which will be during the Yarn Crawl, please turn your items in by August 12 so we can get them displayed.

We are cooking up some fun and challenging new classes for fall that we can't wait to share with you.
