Gee, April is almost over and I am late getting out the newsletter. Spring is quickly BLOWING in--hee,hee. Speaking of which, besides our normal monthly classes we have some new classes blowing in to the Knit Knook!
*Jennifer is offering a new class called "Wear your Knitwear" for $15. Bring in your scarves, shawls or any item that you don't know how to tie, hold together or use accessories with. The class is Wednesday, April 25th from 5:30-7:30.
*Sunday, April 22nd from 1-3 pm, Jennifer and Susan are offering a "Try Out Spinning" class. You will be able to draft and then use a drop spindle. There will even be several spinning wheels to check out. If you have always wanted to learn more about spinning or are just curious, this is the class for you! It is only $15 and everything you need is supplied.
Looking ahead to May.....wow, lots of new classes.....
*Karen McP is teaching Bella's Mitts May 7th, 14th and 21st from 5:30-7:30.
*Karen C has taught "Next Steps in Knitting" before but we haven't published what that includes. Here is the list: A review of knit, purl, bind off; How to choose yarn, needles, patterns; How to use tools, patterns, resources; Learn new skills Magic loop, circular cast-on; Pick your next project--hat, cowl, sampler.
*Christine took a class from a teacher from Scotland and is sharing some of the things she learned about Fair Isle in her "Fair Isle Hat." The class is May 2nd and 16th from 10 am-noon. Come see her samples in the shop. They are fantastic!
*For those of you who would like to learn how to fix your mistakes, Jennifer is teaching a "Fix it" class May 2nd and 9th from 5:30-7:30 pm.
*May 3rd and June 14th, Jill is offering the "Chloe Cardigan" from 1:30-3:30 pm. It is a lovely lacy knit for the spring and summer!
*Karen C is teaching "Provisional Cast Ons, How and When to Use Them" on May 10th from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Saturday, May 19th, we are sponsoring a Spinning Workshop at Susan's house from 9 am-4 pm. All levels of Spinners are welcome. Please contact the shop to sign up.
