Clear Creek County Local Improvement District Petition for Broadband

Do you live in eastern Clear Creek County and want actual high-speed broadband internet service at your home? You may see a neighbor circulating a petition this weekend or early next week to get a ballot question for this November election to create and fund a Local Improvement District (LID) solely for the purpose of making this service available over the next couple years, not decades later or never! The plan is to use the LID to come up with matching funds for much more significant state rural broadband funds to create this much-needed service. Please see the proposed service area below - it includes nearly all of easter Clear Creek County other than Floyd Hill and Brook Forest.
