The City of Golden’s 4th of July, 2018 fireworks show is still on schedule for tomorrow night at 9:30 p.m. While conditions are dry, be assured that the Golden Fire Department is continually assessing the fire danger and will cancel the show, even at the last minute, if it is deemed too dangerous to proceed. This is a professional, licensed pyrotechnic show; precautions and abundant fire controls are in place to proceed safely and minimize risk. Golden is one of more than 70 communities across the state that are holding a holiday fireworks display and we have confidence in the professionalism of the Golden Fire Department and their ability to assess the dangers and hold a safe, successful display.

The fireworks show is scheduled for 9:30 p.m, conditions permitting. Beginning at 6 p.m., watch for updates about the status of the show on the City’s Facebook page or follow us on Twitter @CityofGolden.
