MORRISON, Colo. — The Colorado Department of Transportation will start rock mitigation work Wednesday and Thursday in the coned-off areas on Bear Creek Avenue at Highway 8 in Morrison. This is just west of the Morrison Liquor Store.
CDOT said it’s not sure when the project will wrap up, but asked Morrison police to help with traffic for two days. Drivers should expect delays up to 20 minutes between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. During that time, crews will be removing loose rock from above the north slope of the highway.
