Structure Fire Wednesday Night in Aspen Park

Elk Creek responded to a structure fire in Aspen Park on Wednesday night. The residents were able to exit the home without injury. A cat was rescued during the primary search of the home and the fire was under control around 11 PM. Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District responded for mutual aid. Elk Creek provided oxygen therapy to the pets who had smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
