Preparing for Emergency Responses to Local Attractions

11 Mar 2019 20:27 #1 by ElkCreekFireDepartment
Today, members of Elk Creek Fire Department worked with Denver Adventures Zipline Tours to learn and understand their course and make plans for emergency access and evacuation in case there was ever a need. Denver Adventure staff members and Elk Creek firefighters discussed plans and trained for accessing patients using vehicles, by hiking to them, and by ziplining to them. They also identified places to land helicopters. Thank you Denver Adventures Zipline Tours for spending the time today to take us through your course and discuss these emergency access and evacuation plans (and for letting us have a bit of fun in the process)!

In case of emergency, please dial 911.
