Conceptual Site Plan:
Nonprofit center that would include dormitory building for medical staff for primary care and alternative therapies such as ozone therapy and flow tanks
Gatherings and events
Volleyball courts, obstacle course, weddings, gazebo, commercial kitchen for canning and preserves from things grown on site
Daycamps and overnight camps
Agricultural uses
Bathhouse
Homeschool programs possibly in the form of a cooperative that teach coding, foreign languages, art classes, etc.
2 self-sustaining dome houses
Water & Wastewater Presentation:
Will bring in portable toilets for large events
Want to add a HLT system
Want to use alternative ways to treat wastewater and use as an educational opportunity for kids
Want to use swales, permaculture, rainwater to help with water needed for landscaping, do not plan on using fertilizer
Interested in using a cistern, but there may be issues/difficulties with that
Concerns:
Using Tesuque Road- will they pay in to help maintain it?
Don’t want RV Park - Applicants are not actually looking to do RV park, just to allow every once in a while a speaker to stay overnight in their RV
Noise – have already heard noise from large events
Are they planning on having a liquor license for weddings?
Not planning on pursuing that
Water & Sanitation, nitrates from wastewater and fertilizer, put in new tanks but didn’t add an HLT system, high water table
Want to work with Indian Hills groups on water and sanitation, hopefully help out the whole community
Property Values and atmosphere – not an urban area, don’t want a lot of tourists and outside people
Will they make the easement permanent for the fire district?
