From the Evergreen Library:

Evergreen library is closing at 12 today. Our boiler isn't working and it's getting chilly. Stay home, be safe. We will reschedule the Halloween party!

From Jefferson County CO Government:

Due to inclement weather, all Jefferson County offices and the courts are closing at 1 p.m. today, Oct. 29, 2019. We will also have a delayed opening for Wed., Oct. 30, with offices opening at 10 a.m.

Please travel safely!

To keep our employees safe, we are closing at 2pm today. We plan to open at 10am tomorrow.

It was a tough call to make, but with the prediction of more heavy snowfall today into tomorrow morning along with cold temperatures and dangerous road conditions we decided to play it safe and stay closed today. We apologize for any inconvenience.

- USFS South Platte Ranger District will be closing today at noon.

The Visitors Center at Staunton State Park is closed today, and CPW has shared that Eleven Mile State Park's is as well. While the park remains open, the roads getting here are slippery and we recommend getting a snowy hike in on another day. Be safe all!

Jeffco Public Schools is having an on-time dismissal today, October 29. All after-school and evening activities are CANCELLED, including athletic events, other scheduled activities, and all after-school care in Jeffco facilities.

Students will be kept inside and taken care of until picked up - please drive safely. If you have an extraordinary circumstance that prohibits you from collecting your student at dismissal, please contact the school.

If you have a student in an after-school care program, please arrange to pick up your student at school at the regular dismissal time. Buses will run normally and students who walk will be dismissed to walk home.

Mudslingers in Bailey will be closing at 12:00 today. All employees but manager are already home.

Liks Icecream store will be closed today too.

Conifer Medical Center is opening late at 10am tomorrow 10/30!

The schools will dismiss on-time today.

However, due to anticipated deteriorating road conditions and adverse weather in the late afternoon forecast, all PCSD1 after-school and evening activities will be canceled for Tuesday, October 29. This includes tonight's Community Safety Forum featuring Sheriff McGraw, Chief Burgett and Superintendent Schmidt.

Tuesday/Thursday swimming is still on, as this is a makeup date.
