From Jeffco Public Schools West Transportation:
This will affect the following schools: Evergreen High School, Evergreen Middle, Conifer High School, West Jeff Middle, Marshdale, and Parmalee Elementary.
Due to driver shortage.
Unfortunately, there are routes today we cannot cover until after our first run has been completed. We have additional routes that will be running late into their schools due to the additional stops that have been added to our existing routes. Here is what we have come up with:
W-20 has no driver.
After W-3 has completed it's first run. W-3 will pull into CHS and then head over to WJM to pick up W-20’s students. They will arrive at CHS at approximately 4:10 and then into WJM around 4:17 and begin W-20’s route.
W-20’s elementary will be picked up by W-31. They will arrive hopefully at Marshdale at 4:10-4:15 and begin W-20’s Marshdale’s elementary.
W-12 and W-8 will be combined. There will be no W-8 CHS/WJM bus today. It has no elementary due to the distance it goes. Thus placing W-12 into West Jeff Elementary at approximately 4:00 and then it will continue on route, placing it into Marshdale at 4:15 p.m. and continue on route.
There will be no driver for W-44 Evergreen Middle and Parmalee Elementary - After W-34 has completed it's route. W-34 will arrive at EM at approximately 4:30/4:40 to pick up W-44’s EHS/EM students and W-27 will arrive at Parmalee Elementary at 4:40.
We called the Venue Theater for CHS and WJM as we cannot provide them service today (this is a courteous run). We contacted them to inform them of the situation – we could only leave them a message.
The rest of the week is not looking any better.
