I always pick Washington for my favorite because he started the important precedent of peacefully leaving office.
Least favorite? This will change from time to time, but right now it is Woodrow Wilson(D). He reversed many civil rights gains for African Americans while he was in the White House. He wasn't totally bad however, he tried to create a world body to prevent wars in the future and he worked to give subject people overseas their own nations.
