Planned outages for Bergen Park Evergreen area September 11 and 12

Service will be interrupted for 1,300+ customers in the Bergen Park area the nights of Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, as our wholesale power provider, Xcel Energy, performs necessary fire mitigation work on power lines that serve the area.

The outages will occur from approximately 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. both nights. Letters were mailed to affected customers, and they will receive phone call and text reminders. Visit IREA.coop/irea-plans-aug-28-29-outages-i...ire-mitigation-work/ for more information.

The planned power outages that were scheduled for August 28 and 29 were postponed to Friday, Sept. 11, and Saturday, Sept. 12. Xcel Energy crews originally scheduled for this work are currently focusing all efforts to repair lines damaged by wildfires in other parts of Colorado.

Customers affected by the planned outage in the Bergen Park area should be back on by 7:30 a.m. Thank you for your patience as important fire mitigation work was done. The second of the two planned outages is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. tonight and end by 6 a.m.
