A Quick Message from Fire Chief Jacob Ware:
We are always looking for ways to better serve the citizens in the Elk Creek Fire Protection District. For this reason we are rolling out a new program to protect our residents and their property in the most effective way possible. Community Connect is a free, secure, and easy to use platform that allows you to share critical information about your household that will aid first responders and emergency response personnel when responding to your residence. By providing information about your household that you feel is important for us to know about at the time of an emergency, we can ensure you and everything you care about is protected to the best of our ability.

Please go to www.communityconnect.io/info/co-elkcreek to learn more and to create your profile. Your information will be kept secure and private, it will only come up when we respond to an emergency at your residence.

In case of emergency, please dial 911.

October is National Preparedness Month. Help us be better prepared to respond to an emergency at your home by letting us know of any special medical needs of those in your home, keep us updated on what kind of pets you have and where to find them in your home, and let us know specifics about your property that will help us respond faster and more efficiently. Create an account that you can edit and update as needed here: www.communityconnect.io/info/co-elkcreek

Although the "io." domain may look unfamiliar, it is extraordinarily common in the technology space and has come to be trusted with even greater accountability than many ".or" or ".net" websites. All logins are password protected with bank level encryption and security - so if you feel comfortable logging in to your online bank, you’ll be comfortable logging in to Community Connect.

In case of emergency, please dial 911.

Have you registered on Community Connect yet? It's completely voluntary and has bank-level encryption for security. The information you provide may just help us better serve you when the unexpected, and unwanted, emergency happens.

Wildfire and severe storm season is upon us. Help us best protect your home and family by creating a profile in Community Connect, a secure database that only our personnel can access when called to an emergency at your home, in which you can securely and privately let us know details that aid our first responders. Does someone in your home have a chronic condition or special needs, do you have pets, what type and where are they likely to hide, where is the gas or power shutoff located, etc? Click here to get started: www.communityconnect.io/info/co-elkcreek
