School Closures, Delays, Modified Schedules for February 25th

We will conduct an all-remote learning day for all students on 02/25 due to weather & road conditions. School buildings are closed. All students will learn remotely. Childcare programs are closed & all in-person after-school activities are canceled. Check your email for details.

Dear Jeffco Public Schools Families & Staff,

Jeffco Public Schools will conduct an all-remote learning day on Thursday, February 25 due to weather and road conditions. School buildings and other district buildings are closed.

For students in PK-5 who attend school in-person, students will conduct their learning remotely. Students will engage in asynchronous learning and may have a check-in time with their classrooms. Teachers will share their class schedules for the day by the morning.

For students in grades 6-12, you will follow the hybrid rotation that is in place currently, just in an all-remote environment. Both A and B schedule students will be remote with no in-person instruction. Current all-remote learners in 6-12 will continue on their usual schedule.

Watch for specific details from your school or teacher on the plan for the day. All students should ensure that their attendance has been recorded. If you encounter any issues or concerns, please reach out to your teachers or school.

Students who do not have a device or experience another barrier to learning remotely should contact their school using absence reporting procedures.

Childcare programs (SAE) that normally run before and after school are closed and all in-person after-school activities are canceled. Remote or virtual activities may continue as scheduled, for example parent-teacher conferences. Please contact your school with any questions.

Essential operations staff should check with their supervisor about their reporting schedule.

Jeffco Public Schools

Platte Canyon School District 1:
Due to hazardous road conditions and additional time for snow removal, the District will be on a delayed start today, Thursday, February 25th. The delayed start is 90 minutes across the district, with no morning preschool. Please refer to your Parent Portal for your bus arrival time, under Transportation.

Park County School District Re-2
Due to the adverse weather conditions, we will have a 2 hour delay today, February, 25. School will begin at 9:52, no breakfast will be served.

If you are scheduled for a COVID test today, you do not need to change your appointment simply come to the school anytime after 10:00 am but before noon.

Clear Creek County School District:
ATTENTION: On Thursday February 25th, due to hazardous driving conditions, and inclement weather, Clear Creek school district will be on remote learning. ALL after school activities have been cancelled.

Jefferson County and Park County government offices are on a one hour delayed opening.
