Since Conifer Area Council facilitated it’s 1st comprehensive survey in 2006, Trails has been a high priority according to Conifer residents. A Trails Study / Action Team was formed in 2007.
The goal of this Team is to connect Conifer area neighborhoods, schools, churches, shopping centers and Open Space Parks for residents to safely walk, hike and bike in the community and to plan for regional trail connections.
Although safety is obviously an extremely high priority, it is important to note that each priority, whether it be Programs, Trails or a Conifer Library, is supported by a different pool of funds and they are not competing interests.
Conifer Area Council is a nonpolitical organization that does not support or oppose any development, issue, political agenda, individual person or business.
