Drinking water will be available at Platte Canyon Fire Station 1 in Bailey today 1130am to 5 pm. Tomorrow to be determined."

Bailey Water Update
There is currently a break in the main supply line in Bailey. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Bailey water will have a company onsite to find the break. During that time, the system will be pressurized and water will be available to flush toilets. DO NOT DRINK this water, it is likely contaminated.
Bailey Water and the Red Cross will be distributing drinking water at the fire station in downtown Bailey today until 5PM. Residents impacted by the outage will be given free drinking water.
DO NOT DRINK any water from your tap until you are informed it is safe by Bailey Water. Expect to have several days of either a no drink or boil order. Remember, water boils at a lower temperature, at altitude. When allowed to use boiled water, be sure it reaches a safe temperature to destroy all contaminants.
BAILEY RESIDENTS!! We are sad to hear you are still w/o water. Needing a Hot Shower? Please come to the Marge Hudak Pool. Normal shower $2.75 now $1.00 during these rough times. Please show your ID at check in. Praying for water soon.

The customers of Bailey Water remain on a boil order. DO NOT use water from the tap for anything that can be ingested unless boiled thoroughly. At altitude, water boils at a lower temperature so be sure water you use is boiled hard.
There is still a limited amount of bottled water at Fire Station #1 in Bailey and Glen Isle can provide up to 5 gallons for people who need more.
The locater service, which will help find the break has been pushed out to Friday. Once the break is located, it can be assessed on what it will take to resolve the issue. Once the system is sealed, test samples will be sent to the State for approval. The turnaround on that process should be 24 hours.
The State Health Department has shut down all retail food operations in the Bailey Water District until the boil order is lifted and all equipment is flushed and sanitized. Some of the businesses, such as Aspen Peak Cellars are open to sell pre-packaged items. Please patronize those you can to help them through the loss of business they are enduring.
The boil order in Bailey has been lifted. Please be sure you run water through all systems before consuming the water to ensure contaminants are flushed through.
