Introducing our new Wildfire Mitigation Specialist Kelleigh McConnaughey

Please give a warm congratulations to Kelleigh McConnaughey, our new Elk Creek/Inter-Canyon Wildfire Mitigation Specialist! She replaces Julia Kalish, who will be sorely missed, and is your Ambassador contact and the person conducting Home Assessments. We're excited to continue building better relationships with all of you, and providing resources that help guide you in your efforts to reduce your wildfire danger.

Wildfire Mitigation Specialist and Home Assessments. Kelleigh McConnaughey is the new Elk Creek/Inter-Canyon Wildfire Mitigation Specialist, focusing on Wildfire Home Assessments. She has a background in natural resource management, with wildfire mitigation & suppression experience. Kelleigh has a BS from CSU in Natural Resource Management and Conservation Biology. She worked with the Colorado State Forest Service as an intern in the Science and Data Division working primarily with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the Wildfire Risk Viewer. Kelleigh has worked for Elk Creek and Inter-Canyon Fire as part of the Fuels Crew, was deployed on wildfire assignments and was a local Initial Attack resource.
