Wildfire Prepared Home Asessment Program

Thanks to a lack of snow, our Home Assessment Program is still churning out reports for homeowners who want a personal review of their property for wildfire hazards and a plan of action for mitigation. If you are a resident of our district or Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District (the same program is also available to residents of Evergreen Fire Rescue and Genesee Fire Rescue - contact them for more), request to get on Wildfire Mitigation Specialist Kelleigh McConnaughey's schedule! She's currently booked into February. There is a $100 fee to have an assessment completed, but you will spend at least 2 hours with Specialist McConnaughey going around your property and talking with her about what she finds, and she will create a full report that you can utilize.
