The Elk Creek Suppression Module is planning to carry out pile burning operations in the Foxton area this week. Pile burning will be dependent on our total snow accumulation. Burning operations will begin Tuesday morning (January 25th, 2022), however they may not happen until Wednesday morning, (January 26th, 2022). Again, this is dependent on our total snow accumulation and we may not have a window to burn piles.
The Elk Creek Suppression Module will be conducting a pile burn today (January 25th, 2022) in the Foxton area. Ignitions are expected to start at 10:00 and be completed by 14:00.
Project is part of a 50 acre thinning project the Module completed in 2019
