SINGLE digits in the desert this last few dawns......feels like 9,000 ft instead of just shy of 6,000. Western slope has weird weather....hi humidity n winter
60,70 80 humidity NO moisture falling. clouds look ominous,dark,threatening in summer,then in our location (banana belt) they complete encircle us and
and ,move off...no moisture. There r no "gully washers" here...few sprinkles and IF lucky 10 or 15 minutes of full rain. I REALLY miss the long slow rains
and sometimes hard rains in the mountains.....AND the lightening shows....monsoon season has been absent the last several years.....Just a snap shot of "the other side of the mountain". MISS THE MOUNTAINS immensely.
