Pile Burns in the Preserve at Pine Meadows

Attention: You may see SMOKE on Thursday the 17th!
The Elk Creek Suppression Module will be conducting pile burning operations in the Preserve at Pine Meadows tomorrow, February 17th. Ignitions are expected to start at 09:00 and be completed by 15:00.
This project is part of an approximately 50 acre thinning project the Module completed in 2020.
Some smoke may be seen in the Preserve at Pine Meadows, The Reserve, Wandcrest, HWY 126, and HWY 285 areas

Smoke may affect your health

Due to a lower amount of snowfall than expected, low wind and smoke dispersion with close proximity to homes and roadways, the pile burn in the Preserve at Pine Meadows is cancelled for today.
