School Closures and Delays February 23

From Platte Canyon School District:
All PCSD1 locations will be on a 90 minute delayed start tomorrow, Wednesday, February 23, due to expected cold temps and poor road conditions. There will be no morning preschool.

Due to continuing extremely cold wind chill temperatures and poor road conditions, especially on our numerous side roads, all PCSD1 locations will be closed on Wednesday, Feb. 23. All school-related activities are canceled for today.

From Park County School District Re-2:

Due to road conditions, Park County School District will have a 2 hour delay, today, February 23. A delayed start will allow us time to see if conditions worsen or time for visibility to imporve for transportation. No breakfast will be served. Thank you and stay safe.

Update!!!
We are going to go ahead and cancel school today, February 23. Although buses are able to run at this time, conditions are expected to get worse throughout the day and our students' safety is a priority. Enjoy the snow day and your mid-winter break. We will see you back at school next Tuesday.
