The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.
The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

99% of Britain have spent their whole lives in her reign.
We were on a cruise around the Britain Isles when Elizabeth died. They canceled all entertainment that evening to honor her. And many of the Brits on board toasted her with bottles of champagne. She wasn't a perfect woman, but amazing to see her rise up from a limited education to lead a nation through the turbulent 20th and 21st century.
