The Elk Creek Module will conduct pile burn operations for Wednesday & Thursday in area of South Elk Creek Road & Hwy 285. Project is part of a 50 acre thinning project the Module completed in 2022. Smoke may be seen in the Glen Elk, Douglas Ranch, and Hwy 285 areas.
The Module will be conducting pile burn operations today and tomorrow in the area of South Elk Creek Road and Hwy 285 in the Glen Elk Historical Community. Some information about the burn and a map follow:

Due to multiple conditions not being in our favor we opted against burning the Glen Elk piles today but will look for more opportunities in the future.
