From Park County School District Re-2 - Fairplay:
Today is Tuesday, November 26. Park County School District will be closed today. Although the storm is a little late in its arrival, there is still the anticipation of moderate to heavy snowfall along with strong winds that are to hit midday, significantly impacting travel conditions. The biggest concern is the impact it will have on afternoon travel and getting students and families home safely after school to begin their Thanksgiving Break. We are airing on the side of caution as the storm is supposed to increase in intensity throughout the day and we head into Thanksgiving Break.
