Pile Burning for Wildfire Risk Mitigation was created by ElkCreekFireDepartment
Yesterday (1-7-25), the Conifer Wildland Division conducted pile burning near Gooseberry / Kuehster and South Ridge Road. 125 piles were successfully burned, and these piles are now in monitor stage. Pile burning of this sort is an important part of wildfire risk mitigation in our community.
