Want to have a better chance of surviving the catastrophic wildfire that experts say is heading our way?
Volunteer THIS SATURDAY JUNE 6 and more dates later to thin the trees along the few evacuation routes that actually leave the area. None of us wants to be caught in a traffic jam with flames on the side of the road.
No expertise needed! The biggest need is people who can haul branches 30 feet to a trailer. Two-hour shifts, all day, sign up below.
It's actually fun! Make new friends!

Conifer Rotary is organizing. We have insurance, pay the costs, and obtain county permits and traffic control.
June 6, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pleasant Park Road, south of Oehlmann Park Road, starting on southwest side. Lee's Trees is providing professionals to cut the largest trees. Most people will be hauling branches to trailers. We need you! Teens needed too!
If US 285 is backed up, which is likely, people go down Pleasant Park Rd to Deer Creek Canyon Rd. to get to the city.
