From CDOT

Closed to traffic because of serious accident. expect delays; there is no estimated re-opening time. Road closure began September 8th, 2010 at 6:12pm. Alternate route is Southbound traffic is being diverted to Hwy. 8; Northbound traffic can exit at Parmalee Gulch.

Please consider driving carefully and notice the 35mph speed limit signs in many of the corners on 285 between Indian Hills Exit and Morrison (Highway 8).... Very dangerous section of road.

We would like to say THANK YOU to our Firefighters (Indian Hills FD and West Metro FD), Morrison PD, CSP and JeffCO Sheriff....

Note: license plate has been blanked out on purpose!
