looks like a cool app, but how slow would it be to have to watch 303.838.#### go around on the "dial"?

There are a bunch of Droid apps that do that. Just search "Rotary Dialer." I had it on my phone but took it off because, like Grady said, it's slow.

In the Cave I have a crank on the side phone, it works but there isn't any way to dial out you can only answer calls:
