Creative ways to transition your Fall decor into Christmas
Saturday Nov 6 10am and Sunday Nov 7 at 1pm
This class will give you great ideas on flowing from one season to the next. When one holiday is over you don’t need to pack everything away and start anew. This process can save you money while getting your creative juices flowing. The class is free. You may bring in a fall centerpiece, wreath or whatever and we’ll help you transform it for the cost of the material used.
Indoor herb gardening
Saturday Nov 13 10 am and Sunday Nov 14 at 1pm
This introductory herb class will help you understand the basics of growing herbs indoors, focusing on easy to grow herbs and their common uses from seasoning to medicinal purposes. It will include tips on how to put together attractive, fragrant herb pots and how to care for them once they are in your home. Class is free.
Porch or Patio Pots for the Holiday Season
Saturday Nov 20 10am and Sunday Nov 21 1pm
Transition your summer container garden into a beautiful arrangement that will take you through the holidays and into winter. Toss those old dead plants and put in fresh or artificial greens, interesting stems from shrubs such as dogwood, and natural items such as pine cones and plumes from ornamental grasses. Class is free. You may bring your own container or select one of ours and create a piece to take home. Cost will be for material used. If you plan to do more than get good ideas, please come 20 minutes early to select materials.
Quick and easy holiday decorating tips
Saturday Nov 27 10am and Sunday Nov 28 1pm
This class will include bow making, creative use of ribbon and novel use of everyday items in your holiday decorating. Class is free. You may of course purchase ribbon and make bows to take home.
Wreath decorating
Saturday Dec 4 10am, Sunday Dec 5 1pm
Saturday Dec 11 10am, Sunday Dec 12 1pm
This class will include bow making and lead you through the process of creating a gorgeous wreath that matches your style. This will be a hands on class and you will take home the wreath you create. Material fee $25. Please come 20 minutes early to select your wreath, ribbon and decorative items.
Gifts for Mom or Gifts for Dad
Saturday Dec 18 10am and Sunday Dec 19 1pm
This class is intended for kids thru age 12. Will include decorating a small pot with a plant for mom or making a bird feeder from pine cones for dad. Fee for class is $5 per activity.
