I'm glad that someone saw the article in a positive way.

I am sorry about everyone's grief this week. I worry about my friend up there that drives on 285 all the time.

I know it is very difficult to hear these details and I agree that was some odd information. I have a friend and her daughter was killed out by Bennett. She was in a car with a bunch of teens and the only one that died. She was only 16. I was at work with her the day it happened. Someone called our office and told the office manager that they thought she had died so my office manager drove her out there knowing this. But they did not tell my friend, she found out after she got to the accident. They saw all the ambulances going down 70 as she was driving her out there. It was awful. Then the news showed the 'sheet" on the ground from the helicopter and on the news the next day. My friend was beside herself in grief from that. It is very hard to hear and see those details after losing a loved one. They remember it the rest of their lives.

My thoughts are with the families up there that lost loved ones this week. And the young kids.

15 years ago this month my son was in an accident and was the only survivor. 4 people died in that accident and I watched in on the news that evening and felt from the core of my stomach that it was my son in that accident. The flames were 50 feet high and you could even recognize the car. I lost my soul sister's niece, a boy that was in my house at least 5 times a week and was best friends with my son. Because they were at a bar and they were underage but just doing Karaoke and was with a mother. So I had CBI, FBI, Alcohol, firearms and tobacco agents, Police department, 7, 9, 4 news channels wanting more information about the accident and I still didn't have all the facts. So until I did and who was driving, I had to hide from the press for 2 weeks to get the toxicology reports back so we could tell them what happened. My son was blown from the chest down, comatose, and wasn't sure if he was going to make it. I had 4 funerals to go to and represent my son and myself for such a loss, while he was in a coma and having a series of operations to put him back together. I still have memories of the pictures for the accident and I wish that no one ever has to go through that kind of loss and pain. The press had a heyday with mis information and until I got the facts boy did I hear all of it. So I made sure we had a release at 5:15 pm on live news. Told them to get their facts straight and never presume. They hurt my family and the families that lost love ones because of their mis-information and I gave them the right information that no one had been drinking or doing any drugs they were just going somewhere to sing and have fun and where are our community centers so the kids don't have to go to the bar. It was 9:30 pm and not 2 am and they were on their way home. So I feel for this family and know how it can be. By the way my son is ok but still suffering from the accident. All the titanium in his body is actually bending, like the screws. I still hurt over the loss of those people in the accident.

To everyone-

Just goes to show, we should really live every day like it is truly our last. Make sure your loved ones know where they stand in your life every day, no matter what. R.I.P. and my condolences to all those suffering.
