I heard it just an hour ago. My first Christmas song of the year. I spend most of my Christmas time singing.

No Christmas tree, decorations, or music until after Thanksgiving. One holiday at a time, thank you.

My best friend's daughter was born on Dec 12th so to make her birthday special, they don't start putting up decorations until the 13th. I applaud her for that, but it would be very hard for me - I like celebrating for the whole month! Then I'm sick of the songs and done for another 12 months.

Why don't more musicians create new Christmas songs instead of recycling the dozen we keep hearing?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

lol for some of us, yes to being sick of christmas already. just see it as too commercialized. but if it puts people in the spirit, enjoy.

Spent my final two weeks in Saudi listening to christmas music while I worked. It lifts the spirits. It helps to have a very broad selection to choose from too, helps avoid repetition. Christmas is very special in so many ways.
