now i should get really lost. yikes! lol there aren't any markers when you are hanging from a walk wall in the middle of nowhere.

Several times I've seen articles about 285 east or 285 west...and this is incorrect, even though in reality 285 runs every direction, it should only be north and south.


The whole US uses this system and they also are in order from south to north (I-10 across Texas and and the south) to I-94 up there in N. Dakota. The north south interstate system is also numbered west to east with I-5 in Cali. and I-95 running along the eastern states.

yeah I thought it was a bit lacking for our area, but it was good for when you hear things that happen farther away. At least it gives an approximation.
