Why are all the fall TV shows already in reruns?

Last year Big Bang Theory had about one new show every 3 weeks toward the end of the year.

What is up with that? http://reruncheck.com/show/big-bang-the ... ang+theory

Have watched the "big" 3 Bullsh*t TV in years, except for sports, (sometimes). Can't stand the stupid, moronic, CRAP, that they put out year after year, SOS, different players... GET cable or Dish.

I've noticed of late that a lot of shows go into re-runs for a couple weeks around Thanksgiving, show new shows for a couple weeks in December and then go back into re-runs until mid January or sometimes later. Then there is another re-run time around March/April.

I too have wondered why. The re-runs in the spring make sense, as I believe this is from when the crew received time off for the holidays.

I'd sure like to have this schedule and get paid what they do for the time (or lack of) they spend working.

Can't afford cable or dish, so stuck with the "big 3"....but with Tivo, we set it to record only new shows, and with available time, I think we won't catch up with what it has recorded until spring!!!

Don't know why they go into reruns so early...ever since we got Tivo I only watch recorded shows (except for Bronco games, which I still record and start a little in to the game)

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

I only like a few shows-Big bang theory, modern family, the soup and community. Usually, I wait until they are syndicated so I don't care but, off course, I got hooked again a little bit. I record everything as well.
