Hi folks!
Just wanted to relay a positive note and a thanks to an new neighbor and in my opinion a good gas furnace tech.
Short story.
Bought a house in Deer Creek Valley Ranchos, September. Inspection obviated problems with gas furnace, sellers brought in repairman, gas valve supposedly removed and replaced with new. No additional work performed (to my knowledge nor any additional work invoiced).
We started using the furnace when the cold front came in, in November. Same problems observed during inspection were again observed when furnace was put into service. The nightmare of freezing and bursting pipes beacme a worry so we attempted to contact the original repairman. Informed he was hunting in Kansas and took truck and tools. Spoke with proprietor about his qualifications and/or licensing and was informed he was a "Kinner" (unknown term to me as a Construction Contracts manager) and did not require a license.???
The ramifications of this situation are astounding! When additional contact was made to the proprietor concerning "finishing" the repair he simply stated his tech was hunting and to find someone else.

I did! His name is Todd and he runs the Ponderosa Heating and Air conditioning (720-470-1133). Local to the area, responded after the regular work day, quick diagnosis of the problem, explained every step of the repair in a congenial and professional manor. He even corrected several of the previous techs poor mechanical practices.

All in all a great job and the charges were very reasonable, the work quickly accomplished.

From the new folks in Bailey we would like to say thanks to Todd and hope to meet more folks like him.
